Who we are

Orbitt is a product of Orbitt, Inc. (“Orbitt,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), a creative strategy platform for direct-to-consumer brands. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to useorbitt.com and the Orbitt application.

Information we collect

We collect the following categories of information:

  • Account information. Your name, email address, and authentication details when you create an Orbitt account.
  • Meta advertising data. When you connect your Meta (Facebook) account, we access data through the Meta Graph API using the permissions you grant — including your ad accounts, ad creatives, campaign and ad-set structure, performance insights (spend, impressions, reach, clicks, and related metrics), and associated Page and media assets. We access this data only to display and analyze the performance of ads in the ad accounts you choose to connect.
  • Shopify store data. If you connect Shopify, we access order, product, and store configuration data to attribute revenue and build reporting.
  • Usage data. Basic technical information such as log data, device and browser type, and interactions with the app, used to operate and improve the service.

How we use your information

  • To provide the Orbitt service — ingesting, organizing, and displaying your advertising and store data.
  • To generate analytics, reports, creative briefs, and insights for the brands you manage.
  • To operate, maintain, secure, and improve the product.
  • To communicate with you about your account and provide support.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your Meta or Shopify data for advertising to you or to third parties.

How your information is shared

We share data only with service providers that help us run Orbitt, and only as needed to operate the service:

  • Supabase — database and authentication hosting.
  • Vercel — application hosting.
  • Cloud storage and processing providers — for storing media assets and running background jobs.

These providers are bound to use the data only to provide services to us. We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights, safety, and security of Orbitt and its users.

Data retention

We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service. Meta access tokens are stored securely and are used only to fetch the data described above. When you disconnect an integration or delete your account, we delete the associated tokens and data as described below.

Data deletion & your rights

You may, at any time:

  • Disconnect Meta or Shopify from within Orbitt, which removes the stored access tokens for that integration.
  • Request deletion of your account and all associated data by emailing us at the address below.
  • Access, correct, or export the personal information we hold about you.

To request deletion of your data, email privacy@useorbitt.comwith the subject line “Data Deletion Request.” We will process verified requests within 30 days. You can also revoke Orbitt’s access to your Meta data at any time from your Facebook Business Integrations settings.

Data security

We use industry-standard measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit, access controls, and row-level security on our database. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information and continually improve our safeguards.

Compliance with Meta Platform Terms

Our use and transfer of information received from the Meta APIs adheres to the Meta Platform Terms and Developer Policies, including the Limited Use requirements. We access Meta data solely to provide the analytics and reporting features of Orbitt to the account owner who granted access.

Children’s privacy

Orbitt is a business tool not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above. Material changes will be communicated through the app or by email.
